Once upon a Time … Gigamic

GigamicSet up in 1991 by 3 of the 6 Gires brothers (Stéphane, Ludovic and Jean-Christophe), Gigamic produces international board games (they are translated in 28 languages).
In order to concentrate on the editing side of the business, Gigamic handed over all activities that directly fell within its sphere of competence to a network of partners, creators, testers, designers, manufacturers, packaging and logistics companies distributors.


Within 16 years, combining game wealth, material quality and aesthetic, Gigamic invented the concept of “game object”. Games have a world-wide appeal. Three quarters are exported. The main markets are Europe, North America and the South Seas.
Everywhere, Gigamic distribution favours specialised outlets and large department stores. Their French Network includes 800 retail outlets, 300 of which are supported by specialised sales assistance.� In Europe, over 1000 sale points display the full range on special racks supplied by Gigamic.
Quarto, Pylos and Quixo have won awards all over the world and step by step are being considered as classics by many specialists.
Since 2001 the company has set up its own distribution in France and proposes to specialised retailers, a full offer via its own providers.
Gigamic proposes board games for any age range: Chelona (for the youngest), Gigamic Kid and Blue Orange (from 5-7 years old) Zoch and Amigo and lots of� brain-teasers.
Up to now Gigamic gathers about� 400 Board game’s references adapted to all.
